We, the undersigned, are seriously concerned about the speeding traffic along the upper Greencastle road (L1471). It is a serious hazard to pedestrians needing to cross that road to access Jack’s shop, Greencastle village and the Church of Ireland. The volume of pedestrian traffic consists of the three estates and the people walking to and from Greencastle Community Centre.

We demand that Donegal County Council Roads department put in place traffic calming measures between the estates on the upper Greencastle road and Jacks shop.
