On Sunday 23rd October we unfortunately lost an amazing women, Stephanie Diroyan, only aged 21 who was a passenger involved in a tragic collision with a lorry on Mollison avenue.

Stephanie was an amazing young women who brought such joy in everybody’s life, somebody who would put such a positive impact on everybody she met and just generally lived life to the fullest.

If you have ever driven down this road before you know the dangers of this road , there are no speed cameras or any other precautions about the speed limit in this stretch of road. It allows cars and other types of vehicles to travel faster than the speed limit and put their and also other peoples live at risk. It is currently a 40mph road, these signs are covered with bushes which makes it unclear of how dangerous this road really is 

This hasn’t been the only accident on this stretch of road, in 2000 there was a crash where 4 cars where involved with 6 people injured. In 2013 a man was killed In a serious incident with a lorry. And finally in 2022 Stephanie lost her life with a collision with a lorry. I hope you now truly understand how dangerous this road is and together we can change this .

The main reason we have decided to start this petition is to ensure that no other family’s and friends have to be put through the pain that have been regarding Stephanie. A change must be made today so no other family’s have to lay flowers for their loved ones again.
