Stop Trump from Lifting Elephant Hunt Trophies Ban

The Trump administration said it had reversed a ban on hunters importing elephant trophies from Zimbabwe and Zambia, according to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The agency will immediately begin issuing permits to carry elephant trophies - typically the elephant's severed head - back to the U.S. as a symbol of the hunt.

I visited the elephants of Zimbabwe this past summer and witnessed their ongoing struggle and the need for compassionate conservation approaches to ensure their survival.   Lifting the hunting ban as a pretense to protecting the elephant is a farce and is unacceptable.
