Dear petitioners, the Rivco Board of Supervisors will be voting on the updated STR Ordinance 927.1 this coming Tuesday July 26th. Here is the link to sign up to speak either in person or remote: https://www.rivcocob.org/comments 

There are many good provisions in the update but several omissions; namely, no word yet on LOCAL ENFORCEMENT and if they will consider a 10% cap on STR's for our community. Having local, "on the hill" enforcement is critical. 

PLEASE ATTEND, CALL IN OR ZOOM AND LEND YOUR VOICE TO SUPPORT LOCAL ENFORCEMENT IN OUR COMMUNITY BY HAVING THE SUPERVISORS ALLOCATE THE FUNDS NECESSARY TO ENFORCE THE VERY PROVISIONS THEY ARE VOTING FOR IN THE NEW ORDINANCE. 

BY LAST COUNT IDYLLWILD/PINE COVE HAD 45% OF ALL STR'S IN UNINCORPORATED RIVCO. WE SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST THAT PERCENTAGE OF MONIES DEVOTED TO OUR COMMUNITY TO HAVE MEANINGFUL RESPONSES TO STR COMPLAINTS AND VIOLATIONS.
