Petition updateStop Riverside County Bd. of Supervisors Approval of Cajalco Square Project on July 14Lawsuit Ready for Filing, but.................
Residents Association of Greater Lake Mathews, Inc.
21 July 2020

We are ready to file the lawsuit against the Developer and the County and that litigation will stop this for years. Meanwhile, we need to get this on the ballot for the next election (we cannot make it for this coming one) as a referendum. Since the Board of Supervisors rejected the appeal, there has been overwhelming support expressed to fight on but donations are also necessary. If protecting your home and this community from development is really important to you, you MUST dig into your pockets and donate. It cannot be just 15 of us and it cannot be $5 (of course all donations will be accepted). We need $100 donations and many of them to wage a serious effort to make a stand now. Otherwise, do nothing and RAGLM Treasurer Clay RYTYCH can still return the initial donations.

This is a big community with expensive homes between the 74 and the Riverside city border, and similarly between the 15 and 215. Each of you MUST decide whether donating the cost of 2 fancy dinners at the Mission Inn or Pechanga is worth it to you. You know where I and many others in the community stand but I cannot finance this and it cannot be fought on the cheap or we will loose and we must not loose. We only have a few days before the complaint must be filed. The attorney, well experienced in these types of efforts, needs time to prepare the complaint. A retainer is required immediately so he can start. So, a decision by ALL of you must be made quickly. Otherwise, live with it or join me in Wyoming or Montana!

HOW TO MAKE DONATIONS FOR THE RAGLM LITIGATION FUND TO STOP THE CAJALCO SQUARE PROJECT:

Making a tax deductible donation for the Litigation Fund to oppose the Cajalco Square Project in Court if easy. These funds are separately recorded and used for the retaining of an environmental law attorney and the expenses of the lawsuit in Superior Court to stop Cajalco Square.

PREFERABLE. Cash, check, money order, direct deposit. These are most welcome because we get the entire donation.

Mail. You can send a check or money order payable to "RAGLM" to our mailing address: 3410 La Sierra Ave., PMB #F41, Riverside, CA 92503-5272. Marking your payment "Cajalco Square Opposition" would be helpful though likely unnecessary.

Direct Bank Deposit. You can directly deposit into the RAGLM legal account with Chase Bank, account number 302-186-8319. BE SURE TO GET A WRITTEN CONFIRMATION OF THE AMOUNT DEPOSITED and email our Treasurer, Clay RYTYCH (rknrmch@aol.com) or President John MINNELLA (drjminnella@ahoo.com) the amount and date deposited AND your name.

Zelle. You can also transfer from your bank account to the above Chase Account via Zelle.

In Person. Any RAGLM officer will take your donation. Please get some type of written receipt.

GO FUND ME. You can also make your donation online through the Go Fund Me service. Just go to https://www.gofundme.com/f/litigation-fund-to-stop-cajalco-square/donate In this case, a small service charge is collected by the GoFundMe people.

PAYPAL LINK ON THE RAGLM FACEBOOK PAGE. There is a link on our RAGLM Facebook page (facebook.com/RAGLM) for donations.
