For the betterment of Corinth, I support the legislation that has been proposed (HB1438) that will permit the City of Corinth to vote on a local option to impose a sales tax to provide funding for needed infrastructure repairs and projects and for economic development (which will require a 60% affirmative vote, will be limited to a maximum of one-quarter percent, and will have a three year repealer, requiring that it go back to the Legislature if to be considered beyond three years). 

We realize the competitive world in which we exist, and know that the City of Corinth needs all the tools available to effectively compete. We feel that this evidence to our commitment to progress and hope you will be equally committed. We earnestly request your wholehearted support of this Legislation and will count on you to do all that you, as our Representatives, can to assure its passage.
