The South Tees NHS foundation trust which operates both the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton and the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough have made too many life threatening cuts to the Friarage in Northallerton. 

Northallerton as a town is expanding and the local community is fearful for the future of the Friarage Hospital as since The South Tees Trust took over in 2002 we’ve already lost 24 hour consultant led Maternity, Mental Health, 24 hour Children’s Services and are due to lose the A&E and Intensive Care services as well. As a hospital which serves the local farming community as well as the largest army garrison in Europe at Catterick and people who live in the far flung corners of the North Yorkshire moors and the Yorkshire Dales we can not afford to lose anymore services from the Friarage
