Please join me in getting the qualifying date for furlough employees due to Covid 19 changed from 28th February. This date excludes any employee that started work on or after 1st of March. All employees on payroll on the date that companies were told by government to stop trading should have the right to be furloughed and receive 80% of their wages paid to them. Any business that keeps their employees on a guarantee of a job should be able to claim furlough and pay their workforce
