Hi amazing campaigners!! Thank you for supporting this campaign, which began all the way back in 2014. This week, Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak MP announced: "From 1 January 2021, the tampon tax will be abolished through the application of a zero rate of VAT on women’s sanitary products." We did it!! This small step will go a long way to ending period shame, period poverty and ensuring that our political conversations are more varied and gender equal. Period! Thank you for making this happen. Thank you for being the most amazing campaigners throughout the years and making this experience so memorable and joyful!
