Good morning all 80,365 of you!
We've launched a new petition. Can you help us by signing and sharing below?
The Government has given all of the money it has collected from tampon tax (£15m per year) to vital charities as part of the "Tampon Tax Fund" since 2016. This Fund may well be scrapped when tampon tax is legally axed very soon.
We think this crucial fund should stay!
By keeping the Tampon Tax Fund, the government will 1) prove their commitment to gender equality, 2) reflect the genuine amount of money raised by tampon tax since it was introduced in 1973 (£1.65 billion) and 3) help to fund vital charities like domestic abuse organisations that pay for themselves by cutting the financial and emotional cost of abuse.
We also think that domestic abuse and health charities should receive a special portion of this years fund money, to reflect their amazing work to support us all during the coronavirus pandemic.

Thank you!! Have a great day,
Laura :)
