Hello amazing tampon tax signers! We made AMAZING progress last week when FOUR MPs raised the issue of tampon tax and period poverty in Parliament! I've attached the details in Hansard below. This goes to show that we are still on the Government's case and are working hard to reduce the 2022 deadline for ending tampon tax. In response, Minister for Women, Victoria Atkins MP said: "I know that my Treasury colleagues are looking at exactly that issue [of the intersection between axing tampon tax and leaving the European Union]". This is an exciting response! We are really looking forward to the Budget soon to see what Atkins' colleagues are planning! Thank you to the amazing MPs who spoke up for us in Westminster!!!
