We are saddened to report that Cooper, a six-year-old hound mix, was euthanized on January 12th 2019 by the City of Palm Coast, Florida. 

For those of you who do not know the story, Cooper was a dog that was doing what dogs do: protecting it's property and it's owner/family from unfamiliar people. Animal Control said Cooper was dangerous.  However, he was provoked and bit a stranger in his own home.  An animal trainer/specialist deemed Cooper non-aggressive with no signs of being aggressive. 

Still the city from February 27th 2018 kept poor Cooper locked up until our fight ended with his death on January 12th 2019.

Ms. Benton, since, had lost her job and spent the last of her money on a retainer to hire an attorney to represent Cooper in several Court hearings and an appeal with circuit court. She lost.

The city is also charging her $30 a day from February 27th 2018 to January 12th 2019, which comes to over $20,000.

All donations will go to City of Palm Coast Fl for Cooper. Thank you for your generosity, kindness, and support.
