Riot Games, You Should Keep Hyper Roll TFT!

The Issue

Following a recent press release by game design director Stephen “Mortdog” Mortimer, the League of Legends community was notified by Riot Games that they would likely be removing the Hyper Roll TFT game mode/queue from service, due to it not "accomplishing the originally intended objectives of a low stress, less time intensive, alternative to regular or ranked TFT."  We're here to express that we disagree with this interpretation from Riot Games, and believe that the Hyper Roll TFT game mode does indeed provide a very casual, brief, and low stress alternative that perfectly achieves Riot's original goals.  To the contrary, the roughly twenty (20) minute games feels excellent for casual play, as the general Riot Games template of approximately forty-five (45) minutes each game regularly feels a bit too long anyways.  We sign here to support the notion that Riot Games should not only keep Hyper Roll TFT, but they instate the game mode with the normal ranked system of League of Legends, and establish the game mode as the permanent alternative to regular or ranked regular TFT.

I for one, don't even enjoy regular TFT, and should Hyper Roll ultimately be removed, I will not be continuing play regular TFT under any circumstances, because I believe Hyper Roll is the literal better alternative to the two game modes.  Should you desire to remove any game mode, in order to focus the player base into limited queues overall, you should absolutely remove "Double Up" permanently.  I haven't heard a single person express a positive opinion of Double Up since it's inception.  Double Up has a clear need for drastic improvements, especially with the complete lack of synergy among randomly queued together teammates that regularly makes Double Up toxic.

Sincerely,

CrusaderCon
