Recently it has been announced that there will be two new Tiers coming to League of Legends. Grandmaster, right at the top end of the ladder, as well as Iron, right there at the bottom.

I completely follow and agree with the Ranked/Design team and their logic behind adding these new Tiers. It will overall, together with the other changes coming to ranked make the Climbing experience better and more fun for all who play League of Legends; most especially in "low elo", where the majority of the player base resides.

The only thing I would like to suggest here, is the naming of the Division right at the Bottom: Iron. I feel, as will probably many other League of Legends players, who like me, are all low elo. A very good reason was brought out by Riot SapMagic in this video as to why they went with this name, despite the popularity of another well-known name "Wood". While the reason itself is good, as a low elo player who play's this wonderful game purely for fun and enjoyment, I would not mind the "stigma" associated with it! I would, conversely, welcome it and have fun being a Wood 2 player! It just gives the game personality. How is being wood an insult, when it is fact and those who are wood, own it. I play for fun, and would have fun. And i am sure i do not speak for myself.

Anyway, that is my two cents on the matter; I don't know if this will make any difference, or how many people will agree, but I would love to represent league of legends with my adventures with friends in Wood 2. It would also make for good dynamic league of legends content!

(also, metallurgically speaking, iron is closer to silver than bronze, so it can't be below it)

TL;DR: Don't kill off us wood players before we even have a change. Please xD
