Desde hace un tiempo, los seguidores de la escena competitiva de Valorant en Latinoamérica Sur han enfrentado constantes problemas con la organización y producción de torneos como Game Changers (LVP) y VCL Latam Sur (Liga Ace). Estos problemas no solo afectan la calidad de los torneos, sino también la experiencia de los jugadores y espectadores, socavando la integridad competitiva y la emoción del espectáculo.

Entre los problemas más reportados se encuentran los errores de organización relacionados con el arbitraje y la excesiva latencia en las transmisiones, que impactan negativamente en las partidas y en la satisfacción de la audiencia. A esto se suma una disminución considerable en la calidad de las transmisiones: las clean feeds de Game Changers no cuentan con overlay in game (HUD), en ocasiones carecen de un observer activo y presentan lag constante durante las partidas.

Por otro lado, VCL Latam Sur ha presentado altos niveles de latencia, pausas técnicas recurrentes y constantes errores en su apartado de social media, publicando información incorrecta en las redes sociales oficiales de la competición de forma reiterada. Estas fallas afectan la credibilidad del torneo y generan confusión tanto en jugadores como en espectadores.

Esta situación ha persistido desde 2025, sin ninguna mejora significativa a la vista. La continuidad de estos problemas es inaceptable para una comunidad que crece rápidamente y demanda eventos de calidad profesional.

Es hora de que Riot Games Latam asuma la responsabilidad y tome medidas para mejorar la situación. Proponemos que se entregue la producción de estos torneos a otra productora, seleccionada mediante un proceso de elección abierto y transparente. Este cambio garantizaría un equipo comprometido y capacitado que ofrezca una experiencia de torneo a la altura de las expectativas de todos los aficionados y profesionales del gaming en Latinoamérica.

For some time now, followers of the competitive Valorant scene in South Latin America have faced constant issues with the organization and production of tournaments such as Game Changers (LVP) and VCL Latam South (Liga Ace). These problems not only affect the quality of the tournaments, but also the experience of players and viewers, undermining competitive integrity and the excitement of the spectacle.

Among the most frequently reported issues are organizational errors related to refereeing and excessive broadcast latency, which negatively impact matches and audience satisfaction. In addition, there has been a considerable decline in broadcast quality: Game Changers clean feeds do not include the in-game overlay (HUD), sometimes lack an active observer, and often suffer from constant lag during matches.

On the other hand, VCL Latam South has shown high levels of latency, recurring technical pauses, and constant errors in its social media communications, repeatedly publishing incorrect information on the competition’s official accounts. These failures affect the tournament’s credibility and create confusion for both players and viewers.

This situation has persisted since 2025, with no significant improvement in sight. The continuation of these problems is unacceptable for a rapidly growing community that demands professional-quality events.

It is time for Riot Games Latam to take responsibility and take action to improve the situation. We propose that the production of these tournaments be assigned to a different organizer, selected through an open and transparent process. This change would ensure a committed and capable team that can deliver a tournament experience that meets the expectations of all esports fans and professionals in Latin America.
