The Wildlife Freedom Foundation Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization all volunteer based in NYC and formed to help, protect and preserve animals & wildlife in NYC. Our Cat Sanctuary is located in the Southpoint Park/ Roosevelt Island, NYC.

RIOC has disconnected the hose that we have been using for 7 years to water the cats and keep the Cat Sanctuary sanitary. With the temperature rising reaching 93F this coming week, we fear for the poor cats living in the Sanctuary who badly need the water! 

At RIOC they suggested the volunteers, many of whom are children, to use the comfort station located on the opposite side of the park (the length of a football field) to fill up buckets and carry them over to the Cat Sanctuary!

We URGE RIOC to do the #RightThing and #TurnTheWaterOn at the Cat Sanctuary and support the Wildlife Freedom Foundation as they have in the past.
