It IS possible that another common mosquito in the United States could spread the Zika Virus, It is the Culex mosquito. Although it is not a natural carrier of the Zika virus, Researchers have yet to determine (as they have yet to determine many things about the Virus, thus far) if the Culex can transmit the virus person to person. If you look at the US mosquito maps, you can see that the Aedes species is located in much of the southern portions of the US. The Culex covers much of the Country. Zika is showing no signs of slowing down and is nearing Africa. This is a GLOBAL concern! NO SUMMER GAMES IN BRAZIL. Again I ask that you use any means you have available to you to SPREAD the word! Thank you so much.
