The Issue

Install a Traffic Signal at Rincon Road & Eldridge Parkway

We are asking the City of Houston to evaluate and install a traffic signal at the intersection of Rincon Road and Eldridge Parkway in Houston, Texas 77077.

This intersection serves The Parkway and several large surrounding residential communities. Residents and property managers have raised continuing concerns about speeding, unsafe driving, traffic accidents, property damage, and the overall safety of motorists, pedestrians, employees, and residents who use this intersection every day.

Most importantly, this area has experienced a fatality, underscoring the need to carefully evaluate whether stronger traffic controls are warranted.

The City of Houston is conducting a traffic study of the intersection. By signing this petition, we are asking the City to consider a traffic signal as the preferred safety improvement based on the results of that study.

Our goal is simple: reduce accidents, prevent injuries, protect property, improve traffic safety, and, most importantly, reduce the risk of another fatality.

Please add your name and help demonstrate the level of community support for improving safety at Rincon Road and Eldridge Parkway.
