Our cross-border campaign takes a closer look at how inquiries have been handled as we push for transparency in housing justice — pushing for answers and accountability in both the US & UK.

In New York, survivors have waited up to 5 months to access their own police reports — records needed for housing, legal aid, and safety planning.

We recently asked NY agencies Question 1 of 4:

*"What causes delays or denials when survivors request police reports, and what can requesters do to make requests faster to process?"*

We are documenting the responses to share clear guidance with survivors and advocates.
