Update: Court Payment Delay on Disclosure Application
Unfortunately, the Court has not responded within the timeframe they aim to address submitted complaints.
My question remains: Why has the Court not transferred the funds onto the Disclosure Application Form?
After speaking with my Barrister, Timothy Becker, on Friday, he assured me that the Court has all relevant information from his side. So what is the hold-up?
We have taken the required steps to escalate this matter. The local MP has been fully informed and will now take the relevant steps recommended by the Ombudsman.
We will keep you informed as we proceed with finalising the application payment. We are currently awaiting Timothy’s reply on next steps, including the possibility of submitting additional funds to cover the cost of the Disclosure Application while we await the complaint’s final outcome.
I am shocked that what should be a simple payment procedure has turned into a public spectacle. This is unacceptable.
I simply want the payment for the Disclosure Application resolved so we can proceed to the hearing and view the post-mortem images once and for all.
If the post-mortem images belong to the body identified and registered as my brother, then why has there been eight years of delay?
Next week, we will highlight accountability, the pitfalls of documents being wilfully withheld from court cases, and how this affects human rights. I will also share information from a video uploaded some years ago outlining some of my brother’s last words before he disappeared.
If the delays are intended to hinder or stop the disclosure, that will not happen. Together, we wait, and we watch.
Thank you for your continued support.
