Court & (NCA) National Crime Agency Update
We have received correspondence from the Court requesting the case number for the application for disclosure.
In response, we have sought clarification from the Court regarding the status of the outstanding application fee. We are currently awaiting their reply. Once received, we will confirm whether a case number has been issued for the application.
We believe we are now close to obtaining access to the medical records, which include post-mortem images. Counsel, Timothy, is aware that further investigations will be pursued should any inconsistencies arise that align with the evidence currently held. This may include examining whether any funds or properties were obtained by fraudulent means as well as any related cross-border activity following the registered death of the body identified as my brother.
Counsel was recently instructed to include additional matters which we hope will help to expedite the process.
We have also reached out to the NCA to request information regarding when it has exercised the UK–US Agreement on Access to Electronic Data for the Purpose of Countering Serious Crime.
At this stage, I am unable to confirm a statement made by a judge during a court hearing regarding alleged corruption. However, if evidence of corruption does emerge, the appropriate authorities, including the police, the NCA, and any relevant cross-border law enforcement agencies, will be informed.
We will continue to provide updates in the interest of transparency.
Thank you for your continued support.
God bless you and your family
