Dear Tehama Resource Conservation District,
We would like to follow-up again on our offer of a free WWII mural for 202-204 Walnut Street at our expense. The mural design, approved by the Chinese American Veterans Alliance, is a replica of the Chinese American Congressional Gold Medal awarded to Tehama County Veterans in 2021 and 2024 and honors the contributions of WWII veterans, including those from Tehama County’s Chinatowns.
We will cover all costs for the mural’s design, installation, and ongoing maintenance. The mural, composed of two removable panels, will respect the historic integrity of the building while preserving the legacy of the veterans and important moments in Chinese American history.
Please let us know how we can proceed with this meaningful contribution.
Best regards,
Jessica
