A big thank you to VI Senators Marise C James and Alma-Francis Heyliger who stood up to say NO to bringing an industrial Concrete Block operation into a residential neighborhood on St. Croix. Unfortunately, the bill passed with 10 Senators voting yes and 3 others who did not vote.

Bill #35-0023 should be vetoed because businesses cannot be rewarded for disregarding current zoning laws and proceeding anyway.

Bill #35-0023 should be vetoed because our Department of Planning and Natural Resources has studied the issue and advised against this rezoning.

Bill #35-0023 should be vetoed because another school is scheduled to open downwind of the manufacturing plant, across from its driveway.
