Here is the full story as told by Villalobos Rescue in Lousiana. 

This case hits home for us. We received the information directly from our vet at Cypress Lake Animal Hospital that "Queen" the sweet blue female Pit Bull, had been taken there. We were sent photos (too graphic to be shown here). We told our vet that we would help with medical bills, fostering, etc, if she pulled thru the medical procedures. Sadly Queen passed away due to her injuries. Let's make sure these two heartless monsters get the punishment they deserve. On Monday, June 16, deputies responded to 41270 Merritt Evans Road in Prairieville in reference to an animal complaint said Chief Tony Bacala.

Deputies learned that Jamari Jackson, 31, had severely beaten a pitbull dog to death for unknown reasons.

Several witnesses advised deputies that they witnessed Jackson beating the dog with a baseball bat and his girlfriend, Sammi Corley, 25, was seen hosing the dog down with a water hose while Jackson continuously beat the dog.

The dog was transferred to a local animal hospital where it later died as a result of it's injuries.

Both Jackson and Corley, both of 41270 Merritt Evans Road were arrested and charged with aggravated cruelty to animals on June 16 and booked into the Ascension Parish Jail where they have both been released on bond.
