I believe that in our already struggling trucking industry, the backbone of our great nation, it is inconceivable and frankly despicable, that some ill-advised and highly suspect corporate backed legislators attempt to put a law in place that would put hard working small trucking companies out of business. By forcing us to increase our insurance limits to $2 Million dollars, we have no option other than to park our trucks and look for another line of work. This so-called law is not only inconceivable and inhumane, but it is dangerous to our economy as the law will cause the country economy to halt because we can no longer earn an honest living and support our families. We are already struggling with deplorable work conditions, unfair pay and other types of abuse, and the Government’s solution is to put a hot knife in our back and raise liability limits to $2M Dollars? 

This proposed amendment is flat out wrong! We demand our Politicians to vehemently reject it as it brings no benefit to the Trucking Industry and will further cripple our struggling companies and the US economy. This is nothing more than a politically motivated move to fill the pockets of ambulance chasing attorneys!

Todos sabemos que las empresas pequeñas de transporte ya están en dificultad económica y muchas trabajando cada milla a perdida. Somos la columna vertebral de nuestra gran nación y es inconcebible y francamente despreciable, que algunos legisladores mal aconsejados y altamente sospechosos, intenten poner en marcha una enmienda que quebrará a toda pequeña empresa de transporte. Al obligarnos a aumentar nuestros límites de seguro a $2 millones de dólares, no tendremos otra opción menos estacionar nuestros camiones y buscar otra línea de trabajo. Esta llamada enmienda, no solo es inconcebible e inhumana, sino que es altamente peligrosa para nuestra economía. El único resultado será que la economía de nuestro país se detenga nuevamente porque no podemos ganar una vida honesta atrás de nuestros volantes y mantener a nuestras familias. ¿Hoy luchamos con condiciones de trabajo deplorables, salarios injustos y otros tipos de abuso, y la solución del gobierno es poner un cuchillo en nuestras espaldas elevando los límites de responsabilidad a $2 millones de dólares?

¡Esta enmienda es totalmente errónea! Exigimos a nuestros Legisladores que lo rechacen con vehemencia esta medida, ya que no aporta ningún beneficio a la industria del transporte y perjudicará aún más a nuestras empresas y a la economía de los EE. UU. ¡Esto no es más que un movimiento políticamente motivado para sacar más dinero de nuestros bolsillos y llenar los bolsillos de abogados sanguinarios que no aportan nada a nuestro país!
