Daniel Reed Crenshaw is an American politician and former United States Navy SEAL officer, born in 1984. He has been serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 2nd congressional district since 2019 as a member of the Republican Party. Crenshaw's military career includes his role as a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy SEALs, from which he retired. In terms of education, he holds a Bachelor's degree from Tufts University and a Master's in Public Administration from Harvard University. His political career includes his tenure as a Representative for Texas's 2nd District in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he has been an active advocate for conservative policies and national security issues.
