Students all over Florida are always assigned multiple lessons on edgenuity and are forced to sit threw a 4 hour lesson in one day. These lessons also require written responses where if you add a capitalized letter at the beginning you may get the question wrong or if you don’t write it out it exactly how the system has it you get the question wrong. Teachers also assign lessons in class and expect for them to be done before the class ends, this is impossible because classes aren’t longer than 2 1/2 hours and the edgenuity is 4 hours if you go as fast as possible. If you take your time and don’t cheat (which no one does) it takes 5 hours. Now imagine 100 hours of homework due in 10 days... if your a parent you don’t want your child to be burning his eyes sitting for 4 hours and not even learning a thing because the answers are impossible to answer and they are forced to cheat. Make the pain stop. Replace the obsolete with an actual application that we can’t cheat in, that’s we actually learn in, that is faster and easier to complete. That application is khan academy. If this gets anywhere we can end hundreds of thousands of students stuffer and stress. Please... just click sign.
