We are signing this petition to express our concern and disappointment in relation to the decision made to close down our local Co-operative store located in Hall Green, B28 8AS. The lack of consultation with the local community and elected representatives prior to this decision being made sits in total contrast to the Co-operative founding ethical values of honesty, openness, social responsibility and caring for others. We urge those responsible for this decision to put this proposal on hold and commit to undertaking a real engagement and consultation process with the community of Hall Green.
