Change the VA (Veteran Affairs) policy on doing experiments on animals.

The Issue

Documents from the Freedom of information act reveal that the VA since 2015 have spent over $8.4 million of taxpayers money to torture animals as young as 6 months old through their experiments to help advance their research to aid in Veterans rehabilitation..  after they are done with unsuccessful or even successful experiments the animals are euthanized.. Experiments such as implants of pace makers, drilling and then bolting apparatus to a cats/kittens skull,  electrodes to stimulate their bladders or colons, Insert fake feces into them, and break their spinal cords then euthanize the animals. This happens Monthly throughout each of the VA's labs throughout the country.. these acts of torture are defended by them saying that it is necessary to advance human studies to help not only Veterans but humans of the world... we are in a day in age where we can do computer simulation to find defects in humans and or experiments on humans have stopped but not the research on poor defenseless animals and primates, please contact your congressman and help support this  change In practices and stop this immediately.
