Because an entire generation of young Americans has grown up without knowing what happened at Kent State, and 11 days later, on May 15, 1970 at Jackson State; and because those responsible for the massacre have not been brought to justice. The Kent State killlings are relevant today, because we have witnessed the continuing brutality against students and protestors, such as the widespread police brutality against Occupy Wall Street, and the increasing militarization of state and municipal police forces. 

Urban Outfitters must not market products and apparel benefiting from the murder of Amercan students and protestors, or sell products that trivialize their deaths
