The Issue

The undersigned residents of Inver Grove Heights MN, predominately from the Athena Way/Arlene Ave. neighborhood, strongly urge the Inver Grove Heights City Council to ratify the Planning Commission’s May 6, 2025 decision to Deny a request to rezone to R3-C, Multiple Family Residential, the vacant 4.252-acre parcel of land located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Babcock Trail and 70th Street.  Furthermore, we state our opposition to the use of this parcel of land for commercial purposes or for residential use with a density any greater than R-3A, Multiple Family Residential, with a limitation of less than 4 unit buildings.
