We reached our target of 300 + signatures, and the petition was been submitted to the Council on the 18th March 2026.

Current Status:

Due to the volume of objections and signatures, the licensing team has requested further details from the applicant regarding management, safety, and parking, police reports, ASB references number. (Anti-Social Behaviour) which were provided to in a meeting attended by key ‘individuals’ that have been directly affected by these HMO properties today (27/03/26) at 10.30am

What happens next?

The application is expected to go before the Licensing Committee soon. We are currently waiting on a date for this meeting, where we will represent you all. If individuals would also like to be present at the Council Chamber please do liaise with Arshad on 07458323111.
