I am a resident in Midland, TX, struggling with the misconduct of a towing company known as ARS Towing in Odessa TX registered under RLLCS LLC. I am one among hundreds who have suffered from their unjust and predatory practices.

ARS Towing stealthily towed away my properly parked business vehicle, registered and licensed by the State of Texas and the City of Midland, from in front of my domicile while I was at work. They claimed the vehicle was abandoned or inoperable, which was a baseless, unproven and false accusation. 

ARS Towing's practices are predatory, illegal and unethical; they target vehicles parked in front of residences, and then impose exorbitant fees for vehicle recovery, capitalizing on residents' vulnerability. There are numerous cases similar to mine, where residents of Midland and Odessa have had their legally parked vehicles towed away, causing not only financial stress but serious disruption to their lives and livelihoods.

In accordance with the Texas Towing, Booting and Storage Act, towing is illegal without proper signage, and with no legal reason to tow. In addition, the act also restricts the amount that can be charged for towing or storage of vehicles. However, ARS Towing, in defiance of these legislations, continues to exploit citizens in an egregious manner.

To put an end to these unfair and illegal acts, we call upon Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and other regulatory authorities to rescind the towing license of RLLCS LLC aka ARS Towing and enforce stricter regulation and oversight of towing companies to protect us, the residents.
