For the love, care, and respect of all horses and all affected animals, I urge you to consider the damaging impact of the 'common ground' law in Harlow and Essex. This legislation, intended for public good, is unfortunately being exploited, resulting in the traumatisation, cruelty, and neglect of horses and ponies.

Horses and ponies are majestic creatures that deserve to be treated with dignity and compassion. However, the current structural loophole within the 'common ground' law permits individuals to neglect these animals, often leaving them in poor conditions without appropriate care or supervision. Many horses and ponies are found malnourished, without adequate food or water, shelter, and in dire need of medical attention. This is not just a violation of animal rights but a severe humanitarian oversight.

Statistics reveal that the number of neglected horses in the Harlow and Essex areas has increased since the enactment of this law.
