As tenants of Sea Breeze Gardens located at 4888 Logan Ave., we are persistently experiencing a profound breach of our peace and privacy. The root of our concern stems from the presence of SDPI Security Company, especially its owner Anthony Avila. We collectively consider that Avila's actions amount to harassment and profiling, subverting the very claims to integrity and courage that the company's slogan sets forth. Instead of creating a safe, cordial environment, Avila's management induces anxiety and fear among us, the residents.

SDPI's role in our community is meant to be one of protection and service, fostering feelings of security, not distress. Unfortunately, our reality is starkly different. Our shared experiences of intimidation undermine not just our comfort and safety, but our fundamental human rights (United Nations Human Rights, Article 12).

We firmly believe that our residential community deserves a security service that truly aligns with their ethos of integrity and courage, not one that is a hotspot for tenant complaints precipitated by the owner's unprofessional and hostile approach. It is crucial that the property management examine and reconsider SDPI Security Company's contract with an understanding of the overarching distress it’s causing amongst us.

For the wellbeing and peace of mind of all tenants, we are calling upon the decision-makers to take immediate action on this matter - revoke SDPI's contract with Sea Breeze Gardens.
