Revoke NVIDIA's GEforce Overlay Censuring Policy

The Issue

It took me a little while to realise what's causing this, but certain websites seem to just do it, even a wiki page for games can make it stop.

Video & broadcasting platforms should be the one's required to update, moderate and censure the content provided on their services including what's being uploaded. It's an embarrassment to force similar policies onto the users especially when it comes to one's private use of said software.

Recording "Netflix", "Spotify" or other content for one's personal use onto their device doesn't qualify as illegally distributing someone's intellectual property.

When you're listening to ads it's because you're using a certain service/platform such as "Spotify" to access said content (a song for example). Having watched the ads or paid for the premium service means you should've fulfilled the quota and should be allowed to continue having access to that content (song) for personal use.

Forbidding users from downloading or even recording what's been made publicly accessible to them is literally policing one's device, and it's disgusting.

Like mentioned previously in other threads & forums — this doesn't stop pirating neither does it make a significant contribution towards doing so, majority of the users that are being affected are forced to deal with a nuisance in exchange of making whoever is pirating switch to other software.

I am debating switching to the old version if this doesn't get changed anytime soon, I'd advise anyone who can to create a download page for the older NVIDIA GEforce app.
