First I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for signing the petition to revoke Hawaii's emergency proclamation.

One of the most damaging changes this proclamation will do is suspend the protection of all cultural resources including archaeological sites, historic architecture, and burials. It removes the authority of the team of professionals at the State Historic Preservation Division. These individuals are experts in the historic preservation review process. Now, these precious and historical decisions have been given to a lead housing officer who does not possess the qualifications to make decisions about Hawaiian historic preservation.

Will you please share this petition to ensure that Hawaiians remain a part of the  of the decisions that will impact their land forever? We are stronger together!
