We tried meetings. We tried emails. We tried playing by the rules.
And once again—our voices were ignored.

After reviewing Governor Youngkin’s Executive Order 52 and participating in multiple discussions, it’s clear that individual advocacy alone isn’t moving the needle.

But we know what does work.

Six years ago, a public Awareness Gathering in Richmond put this issue on the map. Quiet persistence didn’t. Visible unity did.

With legislators back in session, we’re calling on advocates, families, professionals, and organizations across Virginia to stand together—peacefully and publicly.

📍 AWARENESS GATHERING – RICHMOND

🗓 February 2–6 (Mon–Fri)
⏰ 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM daily (come when you can)
📌 Capitol Square – Bell Tower lawn

What this is:
✔ Calm, dignified, non-disruptive advocacy
✔ Brief remarks & quiet presence
✔ Handheld signs welcome
✔ Folding chairs welcome

🚗 Parking: Use nearby public garages (9th Street Office Building is closest). Curbside drop-off allowed for mobility needs.

We’re creating a unified flyer with participating organizations and logos.
