When I first shared my father’s story of abuse at Harrisonburg Health & Rehab, many of you reached out with your own experiences. Your stories mattered — they confirmed that my family was not alone in witnessing neglect and mistreatment.

I am now gathering those accounts again to push for meaningful legislation that will finally hold facilities like this accountable. Oversight and excuses will not fix a broken system — real reform will.
