Since March 21st, we have been sending daily emails urging immediate action and intervention to:

•The Virginia Department of Health Enforcement Division

•The Virginia Department of Health Office of Licensure and Certification

We have received no responses.

It is deeply disappointing—and frankly alarming—that those entrusted with the safety and well-being of Virginians have failed to even acknowledge this crisis. The continued silence from our elected leaders and regulatory agencies is unacceptable.

However, we are not giving up.

On March 27th, WHSV-TV3 aired a powerful follow-up report exposing the ongoing abuse and neglect at Harrisonburg Health & Rehabilitation Center. This coverage has further validated the experiences of so many families who have come forward and emphasized the urgent need for systemic reform.
