Brandi Bare, the impaired driver that killed Jerry "Jake" Michael and Jenson Reynolds, has a 5000$ bond. This spits in the face of a family that has lost more than can ever be replaced. Members of the Blackford County community, I ask you take a stand and show our justice system that anyone who drives impaired, hospitalizing a 2 year old and her father and taking the lives of a 5 year old boy and his great grandfather, does not deserve to be able to pay to get out of jail or deserve the chance of walking freely out of Blackford County. She is a flight risk as she tried to leave the scene. Since she has already tried to do it once she will try and do it again to get away from the consequences she MUST face. Brandi is also a habitual repeat offender, we must stand as a community to ensure that a tragedy like this never happens again. We need to do this for not only Jenson and Jake but for all of Blackford County.
