Many gamers around the world felt distraught when Creative Assembly (CA) announced the cancellation of the Total War: Arena project back in February 2019. All were caught by surprise, even some developers of the game themselves. This was probably one of the best online games ever produced and it's a shame that, because of poor marketing and disclosure among the masses, a feasible project would be put aside.

In 2021, NetEase released in China an altered version of TWA that did not provide the same in-game experience. Replenishing areas and respawns prevented the rush of adrenaline of the original CA/Sega game back in 2018/19, when we knew we had only one shot at each match, with no room to mess up! That was the beauty of the original game. Also, the chinese version never managed to tweak the team players' selection in order to reach balanced matches. Another of the major reasons for this version demise in early May this year.

We are here now to show Creative Assembly that the 2019 original TWA has a future, that there are legions of fans who want to see the game resurrected and back online in Europe/America, and to make it clear once and for all that this is a game to stay and a project that, by being killed and resurrected so many times already, has reached a level of myth and immortality by its own merit. 

TWA 2019 belongs to us all, it transcends you, CA!
