MAR 2026 UPDATE: New Sunnydale, the sequel spin-off series set in the Buffyverse was devestatingly dropped by Hulu. I’m reviving my revival petition because we want the Buffyverse back! 

My hopes are that this series can be reworked and revisited as well as including companion series to build on this beloved universe that deserves expansion.

Buffy is a symbol of empowerment, resilience, and liberation; a hero that has inspired a multitude of individuals, like myself, around the world. The series alongside its spin-off, Angel, has had a significant cultural impact, demonstrated by its long-term and growing fanbase that remains eager and dedicated to this day. 

The expansion of the Buffyverse has boundless potential. By reviving and expanding this iconic series and universe, the enduring legacy and influence of Buffy and ‘The Slayer’ can be passed on to a new generation while rekindling the love and nostalgia of viewers among the already established fans.

This petition seeks to respectfully revive and continue Buffy the Vampire Slayer, incorporating both the original cast and those from the spin-off, Angel, on Disney+ as a revival sequel series. As well as the creation of multiple new sequel spin-off series, including prequels and animation, to further expand this beloved universe.
