Petition to Sarasota County & City Commissions: 

Revitalize the Former Ringling Redskins Facilities and Reinvigorate Our Community

We, the undersigned, call upon the Sarasota County & City Commissions to take urgent action in creating a task force dedicated to the future of the former Ringling Redskins facilities located: 2900 17th St, Sarasota, FL 34237. These facilities, once a hub of youth activity and community pride, have sadly become rundown and dilapidated.

Our Request:

1. Prioritize the Property: We ask that the current property be prioritized with a community-based agency that is deeply invested in the well-being of our youth and the revitalization of our community leading the charge.
2. Renovating the Facilities: We urge the immediate renovation of the former Ringling Redskins facilities. We envision transforming this site into a modern, upgraded masterpiece that will attract patrons from across the region and beyond.
3. Year-Round Access and Activities: We propose that the newly renovated complex provide year-round access to a wide range of activities designed to promote youth health, wellness, growth, and development.
