Revive Fiesta Village in Colton, California
The Issue
On July 11th, 2026, our beloved Fiesta Village in Colton, California, closed its doors. This vibrant entertainment and family destination created countless memories for the community, including mine. Its closure not only left a void in our recreational landscape but also in our hearts. For many of us, it was more than just a theme park; it was a place where families gathered, friendships were formed, and countless birthdays, celebrations, and community events took place.
Since its closure, I've envisioned a plan to breathe new life into Fiesta Village, transforming it back into the thriving hub of joy and community that it once was. By reopening Fiesta Village, we aim to boost local tourism, provide jobs, and offer a safe and fun environment for families to enjoy. This revival isn't just about restoring a lost treasure; it's about fortifying the spirit of our community and fueling local economic growth.
The impact of reestablishing Fiesta Village would be substantial. According to industry analyses, local amusement parks can significantly contribute to regional economies by attracting visitors from outside the area, thereby increasing sales for local businesses and creating indirect employment opportunities. A strategic revitalization effort for Fiesta Village could include implementing modern, sustainable rides and attractions, collaborating with local artists to celebrate the culture and heritage of Colton, and developing educational programs for schools and community groups.
Restoring Fiesta Village not only rekindles our past but builds a hopeful and prosperous future for Colton. To achieve this dream, we call on city planners, potential investors, and community leaders to join us in this endeavor. By bringing together public and private sectors, we can create a shared vision for the park that benefits everyone involved.
I urge all residents, past visitors, and supporters from across the region to join our campaign to revive Fiesta Village. By adding your name to this petition, you voice your support for not only restoring a cherished community landmark but also investing in the future of Colton. Let's come together to make this dream a reality. Sign today and help us bring back the magic of Fiesta Village!
