As residents of Templeton, California, we have witnessed firsthand the joy and laughter that the play structure at Templeton Park has brought to countless children and families over the years. Our families have fond memories of spending countless hours climbing, sliding, and exploring every nook and cranny of this beloved play structure. It provided not only entertainment but also an opportunity for children to develop vital social skills while fostering a sense of belonging within our tight-knit community.

However, as time has passed, it is evident that the current play structure is in dire need of replacement. The wear and tear from years of enthusiastic use have taken their toll on its structural integrity. Many elements are broken or unsafe for children to enjoy safely.

By signing this petition, you are joining us in urging the County of San Luis Obispo, which owns and operates Templeton Park, to allocate funds to replace this deteriorating play structure.

While we understand that allocating funds may require careful consideration by county officials due to budget constraints, we firmly believe that replacing Templeton Park's play structure is  important and past due.

Please Sign this petition today  so that we can demonstrate to the County of San Luis Obispo the level of support and interest in this matter. We encourage SLO County to replace Templeton Park's well used play structure as soon as funding allows.
