As someone from the local area, I am deeply concerned about the decision to permit the Drumcree parade along Garvaghy Road. This is not just a route on a map; it’s part of our community. The parade has a direct impact on my safety, comfort, and sense of respect in my own area. Like many of my neighbours, I feel that our voices are not being adequately considered in this decision that affects us so acutely.

The planned parade along Garvaghy Road raises significant issues around public safety, community relations, and equality. The concerns of the residents—whose daily lives are directly affected—must be heard and addressed thoroughly.

We urge the authorities to overturn the approval of the current parade plan
