Problem
We believe that there should be a review into the changes that have been made to the Car Park of The Black Horse Pub (420 Ongar Rd, Pilgrims Hatch, CM15 9JN).

Specifically:
A) That the Car Parking charge can only be paid by Phone, this discriminates against many of our Elderly residents who may not be able to Pay to Park by Phone or even have a phone they can use to Park;
B) The Number of Signs present in the Car Park that completely ruin the illusion of “A country pub” as described by Vintage Inns, the owner and operator;
C) That by reducing the number of Exits and Entry points to one, this increases the likelihood of a Road Traffic Collision, injury to Pedestrians and an increase in congestion along the Ongar Road.


Solution
Both Brentwood Borough Council and Vintage Inns should work together to review the Changes to the Car Park of The Black Horse Pub to make it more inclusive, safe, and suitable for the local community.
