Review MOD housing contract with Pinnacle, Amey and Vivo

The Issue

The MOD has a contract with the company Pinnacle. Under the housing element of this contract Pinnacle are responsible for the basic needs of service families. These include heating issues and security faults.

The contract isn't fit for purpose with many ignored complaints, unresolved repairs. Communication is poor regarding resolving issues, with residents being hung up on or left on hold for hours.

There is a myriad of evidence referring to this growing problem.

Families within the miIlitary are vulnerable as it is with little support. It is ineffective and dangerous. Children are getting ill with the lack of heat.

The MOD need to review the contracts they keep with PINNACLE and subcontractors such as VIVO and AMEY, and assess whether these contracts are being adhered to. The contracts should be fit for purpose with clients and by undertaking  regular reviews the MOD can see if they are effective.

Furthermore the head of DIO -MIKE GREEN could hold an audit regarding times of repair and response times. The communication process needs to improve with maximum wait times being reduced.

I am hoping this can be resolved as families are seriously at risk.
