Review BC's Child Palliative Care System
The Issue
Darwyn Danesh died at 16 years old. He received less palliative care services, and experienced increased pain and suffering, as a result of his disabilities. The fragmentation of child palliative services in British Columbia and lack of cross-sectoral cooperation is not consistent with the commitment to patient-centred care. No child in British Columbia should have such an experience, and no child should ever face such an experience again. We must do better.

Demand a review of the child palliative care system in BC so that into the future all children are treated with the care and dignity they deserve!
